Refund / Return Policy

We take a lot of care and pride in creating handcrafted items for our customers.  Certainly our goal is to make sure customers are super happy with all their purchases from LWS.  But we also know... stuff happens.  

Returns and exchanges are accepted and will be processed following the below policies. 

Refund window
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.  

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Custom products such as special orders, custom embroidery or personalized items are not eligible for return. Shipping fees are not refunded. And unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

Condition - For refunds or exchanges, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused and in its original packaging. 

Shipping Damages
Be sure to take a good look at your items when you receive them to make sure there was no damage during shipping.  Let us know if there is damage or you've received the wrong item so we can make it right.  

Refund and Exchange Process
To start a return, browse on over to our contact page and let us know your order number, name and what's going on with your item or order.  Please do not return your item until we have corresponded.   

Once we confirm we can accept your return or exchange, we'll send instructions on how to send your package. All refunds should be sent to Lake Wind Studio, 6735 Cold Water Terrace, Stokesdale, NC 27357


Refund Timeframe - We 'll reach out to you once we’ve received your return.  Your refund or exchanged will be processed within 3 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund once we've issued it.  If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return and you have not seen the credit, please contact us. 

Refund Method - Refunds are provided on your original payment method within 10 business days.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
